How your wireless benchmark works.

The benchmark gives you a starting estimate for comparing your current wireless costs and mobility needs with a provider model. It uses the information you enter and assumptions shown in the results.

Start with your spend and devices

Enter an approximate monthly wireless bill, or let the calculator estimate carrier spend from your device mix. It asks about phones, tablets, hotspots and other connected devices, your carriers and usage, and any hardware payments you can separate from the bill. You can also enter management costs and staff time. A rough input is enough to explore a result, but more accurate inputs make the comparison more useful.

Compare costs and capabilities separately

The results compare current carrier spend with a modeled provider cost. They show estimated carrier savings separately from management savings, which can include the modeled value of staff time returned. The benchmark also records the mobility capabilities you select and shows how those needs relate to the provider model. Any included support value is shown as a separate view of the opportunity, not another amount to add to estimated savings.

Read the result as an estimate

The calculation uses your inputs and modeled assumptions. If you do not know your current spend, it estimates carrier costs using plan-pricing assumptions. The longer-term view assumes a consistent spend profile. These figures are not verified savings, a provider quote or a guarantee. Actual invoices and provider terms are needed to assess a specific offer.
